What should I expect?

A few answers before your first gathering. If your question is about a particular event, the volunteer team can help you plan your visit.

Who is RCYA for?: RCYA is a community for young adults ages 18–32.
Can I come if I am not Catholic?: Yes. People exploring Catholicism are welcome at public community events.
Can I come alone?: Yes. You are welcome to arrive on your own or bring a friend.
Do I need to register?: Most events are open. Check the event page for registration, cost, and deadlines; ask the team if those details are missing.
What should I wear?: Come as you are unless an event description names a dress expectation.
How do I find the group?: Email the volunteer team with the event you are considering and ask where to meet people when you arrive.

RCYA is volunteer-led. Ask about what is currently active and how you can take part.

Ask about current Bible studies, formation groups, and other recurring gatherings.

Help welcome newcomers, plan gatherings, serve Rochester, or support prayer and formation.

Send the volunteer team the event name, date, location, organizer, and public details for review.
